Why Go 'Faux'?
I'm head over heels for Mother Nature, which is why I've ditched the 'one-day-and-done' floral model. Think of our faux florals as eco-friendly illusions; they look exactly like the real thing, but they stay vibrant forever. Fresh flowers often come with a hidden footprint of air miles and short lifespans, and after years in the industry, I saw a side of floristry that broke my heart. I’ve seen firsthand the mountains of discarded stems and plastic foam, and honestly? It was shocking! Seeing bins full of 'one-day' flowers going to landfill was a turning point for me. I knew there had to be a more soulful way to bring beauty into the world without the footprint.
While the craftsmanship of such high-quality stems means they are priced similarly to fresh blooms, their 'green' credentials are where they truly shine. By hiring your large scale or seasonal florals from us, you’re joining a circular flower revolution! You get the high-end, luxury aesthetic for a fraction of the cost, and the Earth gets a little extra breathing room. It’s a win-win for your conscious and the wilderness.
Let’s be real: even the best faux flower can't (yet!) mimic the dreamy perfume of a fresh peony. If you’re a sucker for that garden-fresh scent but want the sustainability of faux, why not have both? We’re not here to be the flower police! So, if you’re dreaming of a 'half-and-half' situation, we are more than happy to collaborate with your fresh florist. It’s the perfect way to get those fragrant 'close-up' moments while we handle the big, bold, everlasting displays.
Our Story

At Foxglove Faux Florals, flowers do more than just sit in a vase, they tell a story that never fades. My name is Avie and I am absolutely obsessed with flowers. It all started when I went on work experience to a florist when I was 15 and was offered a Saturday job. I left school to study Floristry at college and went on to work for the best wedding florist in the country, maybe even the world (in my opinion!).
The idea of building my own business began in 2023 when my brother and now sister-in-law trusted me with their wedding florals. What started as a family labour of love soon blossomed into something bigger.
You might have known us briefly as Bumble & Grace—named after my spirited Bedlington Terrier, Betty Bumble, and our very first wonderful client, Grace. To keep things fresh (and friendly to our local florist neighbours!), we’ve evolved into Foxglove Faux Florals.
Now settled in the heart of Devon, just on the edge of Dartmoor, I spend my days sourcing the very best faux flowers and finding inspiration in the incredible countryside.
And because no studio is complete without a furry friend, you’ll often find Betty Bumble amongst the flowers. She’s currently busy chasing 'dogfluencer' stardom on Instagram (@betty.bumble.the.bedlington) so give her a like and follow!
